Define Company Related Bank Account Number

Explanation

This activity is used to define bank account details at a finance institution. Those details are later utilized for specifying the destination for payroll payment transfers.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, basic bank data is required to be registered in the system.

Procedure

  1. Open the Bank window and find a bank for which an account needs to be registered.
  2. In the Account tab, click the New button in order to add the account.
  3. Choose an id of the company to which the account will be related in Company Id field. Alternatively, you can use the list of values.
  4. Specify a code of country for the account in the Country Code field. Alternatively, the list of values can be used.
  5. In the Account No field, enter the account number.
  6. Specify the validity for the bank account in the Valid From and Valid To fields.
  7. Select the Transfer In check box if the account is for the so-called "transfer in" purposes.
  8. In the File Format Id field, choose the format for file used by the bank. You can also use the list of values.
  9. Enter any additional information required by certain bank formats in reference fields.
  10. Save the information.
